US President Barack Obama
According to the news earlier, US President Barack Obama’s massive stimulus package has created up to 1.1m jobs. The $787bn package, known as the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, has also significantly boosted economic activity. The report on the act said it boosted US GDP by 2-3% between April and June.
The strengthening economy means some state support efforts can be brought to an end, US Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner also said. The financial system is showing very important signs of repair. Entering this new phase, we must begin winding down some of the extraordinary support we put in place for the financial system, he also added.
But Mr Geithner said the US economy was not out of the woods yet. Still have a long way to go before true recovery takes hold. There are fears that economic recovery may stall when the stimulus packages run out, or are withdrawn.
Report also pointed out that the US economy shrank at an annual pace of 1% between April and June, while the unemployment rate hit 9.7%, a 26-year high, in August. Thus, without the stimulus, both economic measures would have been even worse. The area where the stimulus package, passed in February, has been greatest is in directly helping those hit hardest by the recession. As of the end of August, $151.4bn had gone to American taxpayers and businesses in the form of tax reductions, the news added.

Fruits Rich in Vitamin C
Basically, vitamin C is important to healthy teeth, bones and iron absorption. Especially if you smoke, you and those around you may need more vitamin C than you think.
Your body “uses up” vitamin C to clear out many free radicals smoking causes Smokers need about one-and-a-half times the amount of vitamin C as non-smokers. New research shows that people who live with smokers or those who are exposed to second-hand smoke also need more vitamin C.
Thus, if you’re a smoker you should strongly consider stopping for your health and for those around you. But until then, you should also increase your vitamin C intake. Female smokers should consume at least 95 milligrams of vitamin C a day and male smokers should consume at least 110 milligrams a day.
Vitamin C is found in most fruits and vegetables, with citrus fruits, including oranges, grapefruits and their juices having the highest content.

A day is never complete without a cup or two of coffee. This is one of the things that make me happy every morning. Not only that this is my favorite thing in the morning, but coffee is also rich source of antioxidants. You see antioxidants are natures way of cleaning your system.
They prevent oxidation of molecules (just like how iron rusts or apples turn brown), which in turn produce free radicals. Free radicals are bad molecules. Be glad antioxidants are here to neutralize them and help shield our body from their harmful effects. In fact, a cup of coffee has more antioxidants than red wine, green tea and cocoa. That is why I always include it in my diet. A day is not a day without coffee.

It become a widespread issue this alarming rate of obesity in children, often attributed to unhealthy eating habits, combined with an increased consumption of sugar-sweetened drinks. A new study comes to show that fast food is also directly linked to happiness in children.
Children who eat unhealthy food, which includes pizza, hamburgers and French fries, are also most likely to drink soda as well. Similarly, it’s children who come from lower income households who are more prone to unhealthy eating habits, therefore to be more obese or overweight, as opposed to those whose parents are better off from a financial point of view. Researchers came to a conclusion that the consumption of junk food and sweetened beverages leads to obesity in children and decreases the odds of unhappiness. At the same time, consumption of junk food and soda can be influenced by parents, in that a mother’s eating habits can predict similar eating patterns in the baby.

If we use silver jewelry, we also use gold and gems to shine during parties and events or even doing our daily errands. Like silver gold and gems gets dirty as time passes by like a ring perhaps. Lotions, soaps and every day dirt van clog the prongs, making the stones appear facet less and flat. Even chains and pendants get dirty through every day wear.
To remove dirt away, give gold a bubble bath by pouring a few drops of mild dish soap into a small bowl of sodium-free seltzer water or cold soda. Put the jewelry into a small strainer, and place it in the bowl to soak for about five minutes. Swish it around, fishing out each piece to go over settings and crevices with a soft tooth-brush. Return items to the strainer and rinse under running water; dry with a cloth.
For costume jewelry especially if stones are glued rather than set, dab a cloth into the bubbly solution and gently wipe any smudges or grime, then rinse with a cloth dampened in plain water. Pat dry and lay the pieces upside down so moisture won’t soak into the setting.
