experiences and viewpoint as my day unfolds

Archives for the day Monday, March 15th, 2010

Monday here I am! After two days of resting, I finally feel the surging excitement to get back to my blogs. I feel I have so many thoughts and ideas that I can share to my friends. Well, that is just my feeling. Hehehe! I am not sure if I really have those.

Anyway, I did what I say I will do on my Friday post. I sleep almost all day aside from going to my parents house in the afternoon. In a way, I feel quite unproductive. But, I feel happy I do that because I am super energetic today. With that I know I can finish so many things including updating my beloved blogs.

Well, since I am happy today, I think I would be able to converse sensibly as this article I will share says it. According to a new scientific study, it would appear that people who are happy tend to engage more in interpersonal communications than unhappy people. However, when they do this, they also talk with more sense, and tend to engage in less small talk than the other group. The results of the new investigation make sense, experts say, given the fact that sad or unhappy people tend to not be in the mood for serious conversations, and prefer to keep things shallow for the time being. The new study was conducted by experts at the Washington University in St Louis, in cooperation with colleagues from the University of Arizona, LiveScience reports.

The group learned for instance that happy people tended to spend up to 70 percent more time talking than their unhappy peers. The same group also spent 25 percent less time all by themselves, with no one to interact with. When it came to meaningful conversations, happy people were 200 percent more likely to engage in such behavior than the other group. Although scientists couldn’t identify a direct cause-and-effect link, they argue that deep, meaningful conversations may have the ability to make people happier.

Hahaha! I must go out and find somebody to talk to this day. But, who would have spare time for chatting on Mondays. Hmmm…

Yesterday, I went to my mom’s house for our regular weekly visit. Well, she is so happy to announce her excitement over my “going back” plans. She told me how excited my father after hearing the news. That they already made rearrangement plans to give way for my appliances and furniture and so on.

I am a little anxious for my window blinds. Mom always insists before to buy curtains rather than the blinds before. She said it looks homier using than blinds. But, I have my own ways and, as always, did not listen to her. I go on with my first plan, to purchase blinds.

Now that I am going back to my parent’s house, I wonder what will happen to them. I guess they will just keep it in the storage or throw it away. It is such a waste because my blinds are still five months old. So, that would make my blinds seven months old at the time of my transfer

Since the moving back plan is still more than two months away, I have to look for a good alibi to convince them to use it. Hopefully they will listen. But, if they don’t, well I can’t do anything about it. It’s their house with their rules. So, I will follow.

want to earn extra

It’s been quite a while since I receive payments from adsense. Well, I am not earning much from it. Let’s see, it took me at least two years before I reached the $100 threshold. At least I received it. I’m just wondering how some people earn lots of money from it, while I get to wait for a year or two before I can cash out.

I tried to google the answer and I found the term “Revenue Sharing.” I find it quite interesting. From there, I read the meaning to the term and get lists of excellent adsense revenue sharing sites. Other than that I found lots of great articles that could help me earn extra bucks without having to wait for a year. But, I still have to read those because there are too many of it.

Anyway, I also bump across yousaytoo site, a social blogging site, where I can add my blog for greater exposure in the web. I guess it is a great place to make extra revenue for my blogs.

Isn’t that amazing? I found lots of great opportunity to earn extra. Well, there is no other way to know if it really works, but to try it myself. Cross my fingers! Hopefully it works.
