There are many differences between private colleges and traditional colleges. One major difference between these two types of institutions is the quality of education. For those focused on obtaining the high quality skills and training required for career success in the shortest and most efficient manner, private colleges tend to be the better choice. There are a number of benefits associated with private colleges.

  • Smaller Classes - private colleges tend to be much smaller than those of traditional colleges. When classes are smaller, the instructor-to-student ratio is much lower, allowing for more individual attention in class. The learning environment also tends to be much more interactive in smaller classes than in larger ones.
  • Emphasis on Teaching Rather than Research - in traditional colleges, faculty members are not only assigned to teach classes, but are also required to emphasize academic research. Typically, faculty members in traditional colleges are required to devote a significant amount of time and energy to conducting and publishing academic research designed to advance the body of knowledge in their particular area of expertise. While, private colleges the primary role of a faculty member is to teach classes and to help students acquire the skills they need to become successful in their chosen fields. Yesterday, I enjoyed arranging our closet. Well, I don’t have lots of things to do. So, instead of just sitting in the couch doing nothing, I decided to arrange everything in our cabinet. I haven’t done this for a long time already. Anyway, I found lots of stuff that has been kept there for a long time. Most of them bring back memories from the pasts just like hubby’s hospital uniforms. I forget that these scrubs clothing still existed. I thought he already tossed them long time ago.

Well, it reminds me of his first hospital duties. He got too excited that he ordered five pairs of scrubs. Good thing they were cheap scrub. If not, then he will surely hear something from me. Well, that was his first time to serve a hospital after college. It took him quite some time because there is a long list of trainees. But, not everybody got a chance, only those who passed the exam were given the opportunity to train.

I got my fair share of stress at that time since I also need to wake up early when his duty is 7am and sleep late when he needs to go out at 11pm. That is also my training. I have to get used to that kind of scenario in the future. At least I already know how to deal with it.

There is nothing much to do today. The weather is bad and going out is just a bit hassle since I don’t have a car of my own. It is better to stay put besides I have my internet connection so I won’t be bored at all. I have been searching interesting topic to increase my knowledge and most importantly to kill time. LOL!

Anyway, one of the things I keep on checking the web is about gold. I have been looking at the possibility of purchasing gold bullion as an investment product that is why I keep on reading articles about it. Basically, buying gold has been recognized for centuries as one of the best ways to preserve one’s wealth and purchasing power. Gold bullion is a unique investment. As an investment product, gold is available in coin or ingot form. Ingots are generally gold ingots of pure bullion cast in a convenient size and shape. Coins have a currency value or they are actually defined as ingots.
