Since it’s a rainy Wednesday, I decided not to accompany hubby to the meeting place of her aunt’s friend. So, here I am staying in the house, sitting in front of my computer and surfing the web. But, I suddenly remember to update my resume, which I was able to finish in no time. Then, I started to search the web for job openings that led me to Tech Careers.
I’m amazed with the number of jobs available which includes Legacy system programmer jobs. I know a friend who will find it very helpful. Before I give her a call I will find one for myself. I’m pretty sure I can find one that suits my qualifications. I can also tell hubby about it or share it in facebook so many of my friends will know it. I’m sure many of them are looking for bigger opportunities or just pretty bored with their current jobs. Indeed, sharing is loving.

Dad really loves the car that my brother bought a few months ago. It’s only been six months and yet the car appearance has greatly improved. It’s a secondhand car so it’s not really too pretty when it arrived at the house. But, now he was able to enhance it especially the car interior. He replaced the dashboard cover and car seat cover. He also placed custom floor mats and have the windows tinted.
Now, his project is to enhance the exterior appearance. I guess dad is considering the car as his own, poor brother. But, it’s also good since he doesn’t have to worry over enhancing it as dad takes care of it. Anyway, dad knows nothing else enhances the look of the car more than custom wheels. Yep, the rims make the look of the car. That’s why he is busy looking for latest rims 2011 in the web especially during his days off. He knows that within 15 minutes he can install chrome mags and the look of the car is totally different, from boring to show stopper.
Well, I wanted to help him find the right type of rims. That’s why I search for tips and sent it to him. I just hope he finds my little research informative.
Why is it that learning to speak Japanese is relatively easy? To begin with, there are only 5 vowel sounds:
- A is voiced as “ah,” or the way English speakers pronounce the a in “la;”
- I is pronounced as the English e in words like “need” and “tea;”
- U is vocalized in much the same way as “oo” in words like “cool” and “soon;”
- E is spoken with the same sound of the first e in the word “letter” and the e in “set;”
- O is expressed as it is in the word “told.”
Knowing how each of the vowels sounds phonetically makes speaking the Japanese words less difficult.
In addition, the Japanese language is less complicated than many others because nouns are not tied to gender or number – the same word is used for one tree or many trees – and verb remains the same regardless of the subject. Unlike English, Spanish and French (and other Latin-based languages) in which you must learn different ways to conjugate the verb based on the subject, when learning Japanese, the verb will be either past tense or the present tense (ongoing actions or the suggestion of what may happen in the future are expressed with the present tense verb).
While pronunciations can be simple once you know how the vowels are spoken, and nouns and verbs are relatively easy as well, one way in which you may stumble with the language is word order. While in English sentences are typically in a subject – verb – object format, in Japanese they are presented in the order of subject – object – verb. Of course, just as we have prepositions in English, there are a number of articles in Japanese. One article used often is “ka,” which is used at the end of the sentence to ask a question (which is important because the question mark does not exist in Japanese). Read more… »

It’s August once again. Time indeed flies so fast. It feels like yesterday since the cold months ended, yet in a blink of an eye it will be the cold months again. Hubby said we will be arriving in our destination place this September in high temperature. But, I should not worry because we will stay there for more time so I will be experiencing winter months.
Actually, based on my readings, it’s only near perfect winter temperatures. It’s not really white winter cold like snow falling from the sky because it would be impossible for a dessert land to have that. But, I’m still wondering if the houses there have fireplace mantel or fireplaces in short. The temperature could range from a low of around 13°C (50°F) on a winter’s night. It’s already perfect to have fireplace so family members could gather around and have a good talk. Well, that’s for me to find out once I’m there. Hopefully, I can easily adjust to the place and to the people. Good luck to us.

After Roxanne told me about her wedding plans, I feel pressured on finding her the perfect gift. I’m not sure what it is because she has everything a girl could wish for. She is financially capable of having or buying anything she likes. In addition, she is also going to celebrate her birthday this month specifically August 23 where she turns 34 years old. It doubles the pressure I feel because she is a very generous girl. It’s not like I wanted to return everything she gave me and hubby. I just want her to feel that she is also an important person to us.
Of course, when it comes to gift I know a place to search. But, after sometime I realized I really never know what she wanted. We aren’t spending a lot of time to get to know each other although she thinks of us as family members. The safest way I can think of is giving her gourmet fancy berries. If that is so, then I could make use of the Sharis Berries coupon codes I found a few days ago. If I’m not mistaken, she is a chocolate. I’m basing this in the content of her cabinets. So, it will be a safe gift for her for both her wedding and birthday.
