she’s on job hunting mode

After three months from her graduation, sister finally decided to start dropping off her CV to potential employers. She’s well-aware there are lots of roadblocks ahead before she can get a job. But, she’s pretty confident she’s geared up to handle those hindrances and will enjoy success in her job hunting. For now, all she needs is to focus her energy and find as many vacancies possible.

I wanted to give her some help. But, I know she can truly handle herself. The only thing I can give now is some financial aid to buy papers and hp ink cartridges. She will need to make several copies of her credentials and it’s best to do it at home. It’s more cost effective that way than go to a print shop. Oh well, I guess other than that prayers and support can lift up her spirit to go further. I hope she can land a job that will give her professional and personal growth.

goodie shopping for everyone, i guess

Since almost everyone at home knows that I am coming home, they have started telling me the things they want me to bring – as if I’m from abroad. Some wanted to receive doughnut and brownies. Brother wants jersey and uncle want backwood cigar. Good thing backwoods cigars free shipping is available; at least I won’t have to pay for that. Uncle really loves this cigar for a long time and I’m his favorite niece to ask for it.

Anyway, I’m not sure if I am going to purchase all of those requests. I don’t have much and I’m just going home to attend a wedding, that’s it nothing more than that. But, I’m sure they will understand if I don’t have their goodies with me. What’s important is that I can go home and be with them even for a short period of time.

Oh it’s indeed a long time since I posted something here. But, I’m really up to something this time. Life planning takes quite a long time to reevaluate things in order to make some good plans. Some decisions I made in the past takes a toll in our current situation. That’s why we are taking things a little more serious this time. I’m just happy hubby and I was able to come up with a nice idea.

Well, if everything goes according to plan, then we might be able to buy the things we love including recreational vehicle. Then, we might request rv insurance quote from Good Sam. Of course, having rv requires having insurance. Those two goes hand in hand together.

Anyway, I really love the idea since I love to travel, having that kind of vehicle opens a much better opportunity for the whole family.

I am surprised to see a very grassy yard when I arrived a month ago. Mom said dad no longer cut the grass because he is fed up doing it manually. Actually, he is just using huge scissors to do the task that’s why he ends up exhausted after. Until now, dad still doesn’t care about the tall grass.

It’s a good idea to purchase a lawn mower. But, I want one of those zero turn mower because of the convenience it offers. Basically, zero turn lawn mowers are riding mowers that can literally turn right around, 180 degrees, within its own body length. It offers great maneuverability that will cut right up against and around obstacles without ever having to get off the mower and do some trimming. For sure, dad will have a great time cutting the grass and riding the mower.

Family Meal Influence Family Bond

Young people can find a lot of material on how to get married but very little on how to stay married. In these words a shrewd student once characterized the current literature on the family. There is much truth in this observation. Nowhere do our efforts to promote successful family life fail more conspicuously than in the lack of emphasis upon the family as a project in group living, and the effort to find and encourage techniques in family group living. The scattered attempts that have been made in this direction tend to be specialized, and carry with them little implication of their larger importance.

For those who wish to resist the trend of the weakening of the family how shall we counsel them? These are some of the things which families so minded can do. What techniques can be cultivated to contribute to the ends they seek?

The family meal is a recurrent and fundamental aspect of the family’s life. And what happens in its course is more than a dietary procedure. It is while seated around the dining-room table that the family may be at its greatest ease, both physically and psychologically; that it is held together for definite periods of time; that it becomes engrossed in common objectives; and that it has fewer distractions than at most other times.

excited to go out of town

Hubby is too excited to go out of town where he is the driver. It’s just a week where he started learning driving. But, his enthusiasm is over the roof. It feels like no one can stop him from this desire that’s why I let him be. For now he is preparing and collecting all the gadgets we need for a great outdoor trip, which includes nikon monarch binoculars. We have one of that back home. Good thing he is flying back to take his exam then fly back again here.

Anyway, I am also excited towards the trip. However, I’m not yet confident over hubby’s driving skill even if I ride with him for a couple of times. I guess I just have to learn to trust him over that matter. For sure, his will become excellent in the future with constant practice.
